Borenore Caves

Borenore Caves Reserve is an ideal place for the family to enjoy a relaxing day out - have a picnic lunch and wander over the reserve and explore the many wonders of the Tunnel Cave and Arch Cave. Recommended for those who are a little more adventurous, however sturdy shoes and a torch is required as the majority of the Tunnel Cave is dark.

There are established walking tracks over many kilometers of the reserve. Tables, wood fired barbeques and bush toilets are provided at the picnic area of the reserve. Borenore Caves Reserve is located on the Orange-Forbes road, some 17km from Orange. Camping is not permitted.

Borenore is a peaceful scenic area just a short drive from Orange on the road leading to Forbes. In the Borenore area there are quite a number of orchards and vineyards where you can sample and purchase some of the freshest local produce and wines from Farm Gate Sales.

There are a number of accommodation facilities in the area and some of the local vineyards/wineries have Cafes and/or Restaurants. Borenore is also the location of the Australian National Field Days site which also hosts a variety of other expo's and functions throughout the year.
