Megalong Valley valley offers a rare opportunity to view the Blue Mountains from below, looking up to the cliff faces, rather than looking down into the valleys from above. Here you can see thick eucalypt forests, spectacular sandstone cliffs receding into the distance and the route of Cox's River as it passes through the valley.

Megalong Australian Heritage Centre is part of a unique Pioneering Homestead. It reflects the lifestyles of the pioneers from the past through to today, together with shows and demonstrations.
