Conjola National Park

This coastal park features extensive forests beside beautiful lakes and estuaries, and large areas of woodland and heath that become a mass of wildflowers in spring. There are picnic areas and walking tracks at Monument Beach and Fishermans Rock, and a picnic area on the shores of Swan Lake at the end of Goonawarra Drive.

This South Coast National Park is great for walking, birdwatching, swimming, fishing and canoeing. Camping is not permitted but there's a range of camping and accommodation in the surrounding villages and towns.

Monument Beach picnic area can be reached on foot from either Berrara or Bendalong, or alternatively via unsealed roads through Conjola National Park. Continue south on the Princes Highway past the Sussex Inlet turn-off and turn left into Red Head Road (the Bendalong turn-off). Turn left again into Cedar Road, which ends at a short access road to the Monument Beach picnic area. Please note all access roads are unsealed and should not be used in wet weather.
Road quality: unpaved sections

To reach the Fishermans Rock picnic area, drive south from Sussex Inlet to Berrara and continue on beyond the village.
